Production Services

The Rock Shop offers audio and music production, but it doesn't stop there. The term "audio production" can mean a lot of things. At the Rock Shop, it means producing what the client wants and needs, not just technically, but artistically, too, by whatever means are justifiably necessary to do the job. It means writing lyrics, scripts and musical passages which fit the bill in cleverness, professionalism, flavour and depth. It means editing and mixing the recorded results to perfection, no matter what the vision is. It means mastering audio with high-end analogue and digital components for an amazingly dynamic result. It means getting ultimate performances on record.

Available services include music composition, guitar session performance, music production and arrangement, location recording, remote editing and mixdown, audio mastering and finalizing, audio restoration and format conversions and transfers.

Musically, the Shop can produce in-house sound bites, background tracks, soundtracks and full-fledged release productions with either live performers, or using samples and synthesis, or a combination of the two. This said, the Rock Shop specializes in custom sound creation and programming, so every project has its own unique flavour. Working with a large selection of virtual analogue synthesizers and audio workstations, the Shop can realize most any sonic target. With a few phone calls, live performers of the highest calibre can be hired to create a track off the floor, and with some refinements in post-production, using the Rock Shop's impressive editing and processing tools, a natural, dynamic and lively production of anything from a singer/songwriter to an orchestra-backed musical production can be made to order.
