Guitar Performance

With over 35 years of guitar time under his belt, Rob Dewar has developed an improvisational style that is fluid, melodic and lyrical, and perhaps a touch mischievous at its core. Rob has a youthful love of rock, blended with a more seasoned appreciation for jazz and the classics, and brings these influences to his solos on both electric and acoustic guitar.

All the guitar performances in the following MP3 file, both rhythm and lead, are the exclusive work of Rob Dewar, with the exception of the 1st and 13th clips, which are taken from a live concert (the 1st clip) and a studio recording of the Latin acoustic guitar duet "Leggott & Dewar", featuring William Leggott on classical fingerstyle guitar, with Rob Dewar on the acoustic steel string.

As well as being a demonstration of Rob Dewar on guitar, all of the recordings in this clip are also examples of productions from the Rock Shop.
