As an audio professional of over thirty year's experience, Rob Dewar has "experienced" almost every industry area and specific job capacity you could name, working as a touring FOH engineer, an experienced live and session performer, a recording studio owner, producer, music composer, synthesizer and MIDI programmer, audio editor, audio restoration expert, mix engineer, mastering engineer, acoustic designer, facility consultant, and more. In the course of his career, encouraged to share his broad knowledge and experience, Rob has developed a number of college-level audio courses, and personally delivered those to eager classes of students for a nine year period, at a major audio college located near him. Now, back in the freelance realm, Rob is again offering specific education and tutoring assistance in a number of industry areas, including basic and advanced audio recording and engineering, editing, mixdown, MIDI and synthesizers, music composition and production, and guitar performance. Course content can be delivered on an hourly basis, for those who desire only tutoring or specific knowledge in an area, or as a self-contained and complete course of instruction in a general area of learning in the audio field.
